The CowMotion orthosis standard starter set can be used by anyone who is working with CowMotion for the first time and needs a glue dispensing gun.

The CowMotion orthosis standard starter set consists of one orthosis left in the standard size of 13cm length, one orthosis right in the standard size of 13cm length, one unit CowMotion Hoof Glue 10:1 50ml with two mixing tips and a glue dispensing gun 10:1 50ml.
With this set you are equipped to treat already sick animals in the best possible way. But CowMotion is also suitable for prophylaxis or very early therapy for diseased claws. CowMotion can be used when cows can no longer carry a wooden block or walk worse with a wooden block than before. CowMotion significantly increases the well-being of diseased animals after 24 hours due to the particularly flexible wearing comfort for the cow.
The structure of the biomechanically adapted orthosis is two-layered. The individual degrees of hardness on the sole surface protect the tissues and structures in the horn capsule and allow weight to be shifted to the edge of the hoof. CowMotion supports the bunion pad and ensures optimal pressure distribution on the sole, despite the double pressure load. With the CowMotion orthosis, the cow can step on and off again, and the flexible material provides cushioning that is visible to everyone.
In order to protect the cow and the claw as much as possible, we glue the wall horn of the cow's claw to the cap of the CowMotion orthosis. This gives us a larger bonding surface on which other adhesives unfortunately harden too quickly. Therefore, we had our CowMotion Hoof Glue mixed with special properties. CowMotion Hoof Glue is a two component acrlyate-based adhesive with an open time of 60 seconds at room temperature. The longer open time is necessary for optimal application of the CowMotion orthosis.
